The club is trying to organise a charity Cycle/Walk/Run event to coincide with the “Rockin By The River” Festival 05’ This event is open to all and it is hoped that this event will raise money for a worthwhile cause. Anyone who feels they would like to take part should contact Gerard O’Hagan 81648930 or Martin McCrory 82251081 with their details.
The Annual General Meeting was held on Sunday 12th December in the club rooms. The following were elected - Chairperson – Martin McCrory, Vice Chairperson – John Conway, Secretary- Damien Bradley, Assistant Secretary – Leo Mc Cullagh, Registrar - Eunan Linsday, Treasurer - John Mc Glinchey, Assistant Treasurer Gerard Nicholas, PRO – Paul Mc Cullagh and Kellie Mc Gaughey, County Board Representative – Dermot Mc Connell, Cultural Officer – Joseph Mc Gurk, Youth Officer – Sean Mc Connell. Committee members are as follows: Paul Mc Nally, Catherine Conway, Ciaran Kearney, Maureen Kearney, Cathal Kearney, Fiona-Marie Kearney, Colum Nicholas, Kieran Mc Cullagh, Declan Mc Cullagh (Plumbridge), Damien Mc Bride, Pat Cairns and Ann Harkin.
The Chairman in his address thanked the outgoing treasurer Delcan Bradley and the outgoing Secretary Eunan Linsday for their support and dedication during the year and looked forward to the continuing commitment and enthusiasm of all committee members.
John O’Brien and Paul Mc Nally were re-elected as managers of Senior and Reserve teams. Underage management will be confirmed by the committee.
Lotto numbers this week are 7, 9, 15, 17 and 22 the lucky dip winner was J Mc Clintock. Congratulations!
