This weeks news around Glenelly: The Under 13's run in the Feile ended following a defeat against Brackaville in the last 16 on Saturday. Hard luck to the players and management. This completes the year for all teams and attention now turns to Sunday's AGM which is being held at 2.00pm in the Clubrooms.
Anyone who feels they have something positive to contribute to the club is asked to come along.Lotto Numbers this week are 6, 12, 16, 23 and 24 and the Lucky Dip winner was Rose Devenney, Gortin.The Dinner Dance was held on Saturday 15th of November and a special word of thanks must be given to guests Eoin Mulligan and Ryan McMenamin who presented the awards. Thanks also to Cuthbert Donnelly who ensured the arrival of Sam from an event in Ballymena, and to the Glenavon Hotel on an excellent meal. The various awards where presented and the winners were; Senior Player of the year - Joseph Mc Cullagh, Reserve Player of the year - Simon Cairns, Most improved Player of the year - Garry Mc Glinchey, Minor Player of the year - Michael Nicholas, Clubperson of the year - Declan Bradley, while Seamus Harkin, Conal Mc Cullagh and Liam Nicholas also received awards in recognition of their inclusion in theTyrone Development Squad. |
