Sunday seen Glenelly Reserves emerge as the better team when they had a convinceing vicotry over Beragh. On a cool bright day in Plumbridge Glenelly wanted to set thier stall out for the second half of the league campain.

Beragh started of the stronger team but Glenelly soon found their feet and brought the game to Beragh. Glenelly started converting free kicks via Ronan OKane and hard work in mid-field allowed the forwards access to many balls. Glenelly quickly went ahead but a lapse in concentration meant that Beragh kept in the game with a goal.
This didn't dampen the sprits of the Glenelly lads, it drove them on to work harder. This work paid of when they went in to half-time the winning team.
In the second half Glenelly started out like they ended the first but gradually got better. Some wonderful play by the Glenelly team allowed John Mc Cullagh score a goal which helped Glenelly on its victory. Glenelly's Simon Ciarans was on fire cleaning up around mid-field were other players such as Barry Mc Cullagh, Seamus Kirk, Barry Mc Bride, Johny Mc Cullagh and Mickey Hicks provided a good back bone for Glenelly. Martin Mc Grinders performance was rewarded when he came on in the Seniors and scored a points.
This has left Glenelly with 12 points and they currently sit 5th in the League.
