Sunday seen Glenelly Senior's get beat by a stronger Beragh team. From the start it didn't look like it was going to be Glenelly's game when they were seemed to be a lighter team than Beragh.

This proved crucial throughout the match when Glenelly players were getting knocked of the ball. An early injury to Glenelly's star forward was a huge blow to the team. Not long after Mickey Mc Bride entered the pitch, he was taken of due to a serious shoulder injury.
Glenelly didn't seem to get into the game while Beragh were using direct football which resulted in scores. The nails were already on the coffin lid when Beragh scored a goal, this goal seen no way back for Glenelly.
In the second half Glenelly started to play some good football creating good opportunities. Seamus Harkin converted Glenelly's free kicks while Martin Mc Grinder stormed up the field to score a inspirational point. This drove Glenelly on, but at this stage the game was over.

Final score in Plumbridge was Beragh 2-21 Glenelly 0-7
