Glenelly started of the stronger team. Kevin Mc Connell converting Glenelly's free kicks were Ryan Falls was keeping the Owen Rose forwards under control. Glenellys dominance wasn't sustained though. Owen Rose started to get to grips with the game and started building a neat lead.

In the second half Owen Rose proved to be the better team. For an Under 12 team is was unbelievable their level of support play. They worked well for each other and deserved the victory at the end.
