Another semi final for the Reserve Team. Last year beating Dregish after two exciting games this year it took only one to over come Killyman. Lets hope that they can take it a step further than which they did last year!!

The Reserves travelled to Killyman for the second round of the championship on Saturday evening. The sun belting down over the pitch lead to very high temperatures. Glenelly started of well in the first half having  a grip on the mid field. Although with most of the possession they didn’t notch up a high tally. Killyman were fighting hard to try and upset this Glenelly team but scores from all over the field helped Glenelly stay in the game.

In the Second half Glenelly lead by two points but this lead over turned at one stage. Killyman attacking in numbers failed to produce anything magical with Glenelly’s defence on full alert. Glenelly continued to knock over scores but as this was happening Killyman did the same. Managers, Players and Supporters thought that this game was never going to end. Glenelly were on code red in the last minute when Killyman were attempting to strike a goal.

Glenelly now go on to the Semi Final were they Play Urney.
