Tyrone forward Stephen O'Neill claimed the Ulster Player of the Year award in the Irish News Ulster Fans' All-Stars on Thursday night.  The Clann na nGael clubman has scored 5-45 in the championship so far. Glenelly GFC would like to congratulate our neighbour on this great achievement.

Armagh may have lost to the Red Hands in the All-Ireland semi-finals but they have taken seven spots in the All-Stars team compared to Tyrone's five.
Derry's Kevin McCloy and Paddy Bradley and Monaghan's Tommy Freeman complete the line-up.

The seven Armagh players are Paul Hearty, Andy Mallon, Aaron Kernan, Kieran McGeeney, Paul McGrane, Steven McDonnell and Ronan Clarke.
Ryan McMenamin, Philip Jordan, Sean Cavanagh, Brian Dooher and Stephen O'Neill make up the Tyrone contingent.

This is the 11th year of the Irish News scheme, which is selected entirely on the basis of readers' votes.
