Well done to Omagh CBS MacRory Cup team who held on to a draw on Saturday in an action packed quarter-final against St Michael’s Enniskillen. Glenelly over the past few years has been well represented and this is no different this year with five players on the panel.

On this years panel we have; Tim Harney, Micheal Hicks, Conal Mc Cullagh, Seamus Harkin and Liam Nicholas. Regular started Conal scored a goal in Saturday’s game and was later replaced by club mate Seamus after feeling ill. One of Omaghs best defenders on the day was Liam Nicholas who cleaned up well along the half-back line. Micheal Hicks is pushing for a place in the full back line, in the corner. Tim Harney would have been in goals on this occasion but after an operation Tim will not feature for another while. The club wishes Tim a speed recovery, and also to any other injuried players.

The replay is on next Saturday in Trillick. The whole club would like to wish all the lads the best of luck on Saturday, and lets hope they can do a back-to-back.
