During the stressful time of examinations it is often helpful to have a prayer which allows us to talk to God. In this article there are two prayers a Prayer to Saint Martin and a Prayer to Move a Mountain. Glenelly GFC wish all those who are currently sitting examinations the best of luck through this challenging time.

Prayer For Examinations
Gentle Saint Martin
during your life time you looked after
both mankind and animals
Look after me now for I am worried
about my exams
Grant that with your help I will be
asked the questions I know already
and that I will answer them correctly,
If already those are questions set
that I could not answer ,
guide me and enlighten me so that I,
may study for them between now
and my exams, under your guidance
I know that I cannot fail
In return I shall make your name
better known and loved. Amen.

A Prayer To Move A Mountain
LORD, I have a mountain in my life-
you know which one-
the one I keep trying to climb time after time
and keep sliding back down,
humbled and discouraged ….
this mountain so high
I can’t even see the top …
looking back through, I see so many other
mountains I’ve climbed
only by your strength and wisdom ..
even though this one seems to be the worst yet,
Help me to trust and fully believe that you
know the way over, and that someday
I’ll look back and wonder
as with all others, where my
climbing faith was…….Amen.
