This Saturday there will be a fun day for all girls who are interested in playing Ladies Football. If you just want to come along and find out information you are very welcome. Bring along your parents!! It starts at 10:30pm at Glenelly GFC’s Football Pitch in Plumbridge. On Saturday Glenelly hosted the Under 10 County Blitz. Thanks to Eugene McCullagh and Liam Nicholas for referring this event. This Saturday the Under 8 County Blitz will be held in Plumbridge. Training for Under 10, U8’s and U6’s continues on Thursdays at 6:15pm. More details will be provided at training.

There will be a Coaching For Coaches Seminar at the football pitch in Plumbridge on Saturday 17th June at 4pm. All Managers within the club are inviting to attend both Ladies and Men at all levels.

 On Monday night there will be a Committee meeting at 8pm.  Everyone is asked to attend.

This weekend seen the launch of Glenelly Rockin’ By The River Festivals’ Website. It has all the information about this years festival which is on from 24th to 30th July. Check it out at http://festival.glenelly.net . The prestigious Glenelly Rose contest will be held on Sunday 30th July. If you are in business and wish to sponsor a contestant for this event, please telephone Dolores McAnena on 81648181 for details and an application form. Contestants must be over the age of 17. It is not necessary for the contestant to be living in the Glenelly Community. Closing date for applications will be Sunday 4th June. If you are a girl aged over 17 and would like to enter this contest but have no business as a sponsor, contact Dolores for more details.
