The Festival Website is now up and fully functional after a few design changes. All the latest information about the Festival can be found on this website. Frances Black who appears at the Festival on Thursday 27th July tickets are going fast. Due to demand there will be a Box Office in Glenelly House every Saturday evening from 8:30pm to 9:30pm. Purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment. We will be soon looking for helpers during the Festival. There will be a meeting about this in the next few weeks. Check here for more details.
Mens Football The Seniors and Reserves and a large number of supporters travelled to Brocagh on a wet Sunday evening past. The Reserves got beat but the Seniors held on to secure a draw from the league leaders. This week the supporters don’t have as far to travel as the Seniors and Reserves take on Newtownstewart in Plumbridge with 2:15pm and 3:45pm throw –in times. So all support would be greatly appreciated by the teams. The Senior Championship has been refixtured for Friday 30th June at 8pm in Carrickmore. Glenelly will face Beragh to determine who gets a ¼ Final place. Ladies Football Congratulations to Orla Harkin, Frances Gormley and Eva Hicks who were part of the Tyrone Under 14 Team who won the Ulster Final last Saturday. Congratulations girls!! Well done to the Senior Ladies who overcame Dromore on Friday night in the First Round of the Division 1 Championship. The Ladies Committee would like to thank Peter Sheerin of Sheerin Homes for sponsoring the Open/Fun Day. They also would like to wish all the parents, managers and players for coming along to help out and introduce our future players to the game. There will be photographs of the event soon. Please note Under14, Under 12 and Under 10 training continues in Plumbridge on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm.
