This was a very close match with the teams being neck a neck all the way through the second half. A wonderfully hit goal by Kevin McAnena before half time seen the teams going into the changing room level. The second half Glenelly came out on top for the first five minutes but then died down, at this stage Newtownstweart started to pop over scores at ease while Glenelly were finding it very difficult. A few chances missed meant that Glenelly lost out on the vitial two- points.
