Wednesday night saw the Glenelly minors take on a fighting Beragh team. The match was played straight after the ladies minor match, Glenelly and Dromore
Tonight saw Beragh travel to Glenelly to try and earn their first victory of the year against an undefeated Glenelly team. Glenelly started more brightly and opened the scoring through a Seamus Harkin goal after good work through by Conal McCullagh and Ronan O'Kane. Beragh became more involved and reduced the gap to a single point after 2 fines scores. Harkin added another point from play, before Kevin McAnena carved open the Beragh defence to score a fine goal. Beragh scored the final point of the half to leave the score at Half time
Glenelly 2-1 Beragh 0-3.
Beargh started off the second half stronger and hit several points over at ease. Glenelly added points from Liam Nicholas (0-2), Seamus Harkin (0-2), Conal McCullagh (0-1) and Peter McNamee (0-1) in a competitve second half to leave the final score 2-7 to 1-5.
