Tonight seen the minors travel to Fintona for a late throw-in at the time of 8:30pm. This didn't affected the Glenelly side who went out and battled with a strong Fintona side.

Fintona opened the scoring after 8 minutes with a point from Conor Fleming. Then Glenelly replied to this with a goal. The game was very tight, mainly point by point. Unfortunatly Glenellys Liam Nicholas took a knock in Glenelly's box and put out his shoulder, this adding to the list of shoulder injuries making the total number of players out too 3. Paul Mc Cullagh came on for a replacement for Nicholas with Mc Cullagh going into Full-Forward and a few adjustments in the back line.  Glenelly played very well in the first half with Conal Mc Cullagh hit very vital scores along with Seamus Harkin, Kevin Mc Anena and Ronan O' Kane. At half-time Glenelly were a point up.

In the second half there was a lot more action in the Fintona forward lines with Glenellys goalkeeper Kieran Mc Cullagh on top form saving shot after shot. Michael Hicks for Glenelly was also on top form, Hicks had an outstanding game along with Seamus and Stephen Mc Bride. Conor Fleming was doing the damage to Glenelly in thier forward line with him putting on most of Fintona's scores. Tony Mc Grinder scoring for Glenelly helped them along in their victory and a left footed shot from Ronan O'Kane also contribuated.

It was a very good team performance from Glenelly and the club would like to wish the injuried the very best and speedy recover - Cathal Mc Connell, Oliver Mc Bride and Liam Nicholas.
