Just another reminder for whoever needs to book their summer holidays in advance.... The Glenelly festival will be held this year from the 22nd to 25th July. It is aimed to make it as big and memorable an occasion as the last. Try to free up your weekend to come along and be a part of it!

Training continues at all levels, men and ladies teams, at usual times. Details of games organised will be given out at training.
Glenelly ladies will be playing Aghyaran at home on Sat 12th June at 6.30pm. All girls should be at the pitch no later than 5.45pm.
There will be an U10 blitz on Sunday 13th June for the young boys in the parish. A huge effort has been made in preparation for the day so support from parents and other members within the parish is welcomed.
There will be a Fundraising quiz in Leo's on Friday 11th June, members of the club are asked to try and bring along a team to try and make the night successful. The club welcomes any neighbouring teams who want to bring themselves along for what should be a very good night.
All committee members are expected to attend the next Meeting on Mon 14th June 8.30pm at the clubrooms. Anyone unable to come along should pass on their apologies.
Sympathies are extended on behalf of the club to the Kelly Family, Glenmornan/Strabane and wider family circle on their recent bereavement.
The Under 8, 10 and 12 squads had useful challenge matches last Thursday night against Greencastle. Thanks to all parents that assisted with transport arrangements. It is hoped to arrange a number of similar matches for the Under 10 and 8 panels in the coming weeks. Parents will be notified at training of all games.
The Under 14s had a challenge match again this team on Monday night at 6.30pm. The Youth Committee has organised the club's first Under 8 blitz for this Sunday at 11.30am. Along with the hosts the following teams are participating - Gortin, Strabane, Greencastle, Newtownstewart and Bellaghy. Parents will be notified at training of the full arrangements for the blitz. All members of the Youth Committee are asked to be at the pitch at 9.30am to organise this event. Training continues as usual on Thursday nights at 6pm for all U8s, 10s and 12s. |
