A dissapointing result for the resevre side as they could not field a team and the points automatically went to Urney. Although Glenelly played, Urney were by far the better side resulting in the score line Glenelly 0-4 Urney 1-15 with Glenelly's scorers Paul Mc Cullagh 0-2 Eunan Lindsay 0-2

 

Moving on  to the second match of the night, a highly confident Glenelly showed some good signs of football. The half time score Glenelly 0-4 Urney 0-4. Early in the second half left Glenelly went  a goal down when a plentanty was converted leaving the game out of reach for the visitors. Then a second goal from Urney finished the game of with Glenelly finding it difficult to score.
